Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of landscape photography at our one-day workshop in the picturesque Harz Mountains, near Ilsenburg. Learn practical long exposure photography, the targeted use of optical filters (CPL, ND, GND), and image composition techniques – perfect for beginners and advanced photographers.

Workshop details:

• Date & Duration: 11.10.2025, approx. 8 hours
• Location: Harz – Ilsenburg area
• Requirements: Camera with manual settings (M mode), tripod, filter or rectangular filter (filters can be provided upon request against a deposit)
• Participants: Beginners & Advanced
• Number of participants: Minimum 6, arrival by own car
• Equipment recommendation:
  • Digital SLR or bridge camera with M mode
  • Wide-angle lens or travel zoom
  • CPL, ND and GND filters (optionally available for rental on site)
  • Stable tripod without center column
  • Memory cards

Process:

1. Joint start at 9:00 a.m. with an introduction to landscape photography and filter technology
2. Practical photography session with a focus on long exposure and image composition
3. Exchange of experiences and individual image discussion
4. Image editing on your smartphone with Lightroom
