The Filterfotograf® GND Set combines three essential graduated filters, developed and fine-tuned specifically for the demands of landscape photography based on Riko Best 's years of practical experience with optical filters. Each ND gradient has been optimized for practical use to enable maximum control and smooth transitions in real-world lighting situations.

The Soft GND impresses with its smooth gradient and is ideal for scenes without a clear horizon line—such as wooded areas, hilly landscapes, or mountain ranges. It creates smooth transitions between the sky and foreground without visible edges.

The Hard GND features a more pronounced, hard transition edge and is perfect for subjects with a clear horizon line, such as the ocean, desert, or wide plains. It provides targeted darkening of the sky without affecting the lower part of the image.

The Reverse GND is specifically designed for sunrises and sunsets—situations where the most intense light is directly on the horizon. Its reverse gradient specifically darkens the center of the image, while the sky and foreground remain largely unaffected.

Included filters:

All filters have been individually optimized by Riko Best and offer a practical gradient for real-world shooting situations. They are made of high-quality Ultra HD optical glass , are 2 mm thick , and feature a modern AR+AF nano-coating that minimizes reflections and protects against dirt, oil, and water.
