This makes the cap ideal for use with or without a filter holder , for example, in minimalist setups where the CPL is used alone on the lens.

The cap magnetically attaches directly to the CPL filter, providing secure protection when mounted in the filter holder – perfect for transport, storage, or spontaneous breaks while shooting. It can also be placed directly onto the magnetic 82mm base ring if you use the CPL filter without a mount on your lens. This way, your lens remains protected at all times – without the hassle of unscrewing it.
