What you can expect in the workshop

Workshop content:

Long exposure: We'll show you how to create dramatic and atmospheric effects in your photos using long exposures.

Composition: Together we will learn the secrets of perfect composition to take your landscape photos to a new level.

Photographing waterfalls: You will receive valuable tips and techniques to capture the fascinating dynamics of waterfalls in impressive images.

Photographing with optical filters: We help you master the use of ND filters, polarizing filters, and other optical filters to optimize contrast and refine your shots.

How - When - Where

Sequence

• We start on November 15, 2024 at 11:00 am at Kochelsee (exact location via email)
• The selection of daily spots depends on the weather and can therefore change at short notice to ensure the best photo experience.
  
• A normal general physical condition is required; no extensive hikes are planned; the maximum distance is 20 minutes.
  

Accommodation

Since each participant's needs can vary greatly, we have decided not to offer accommodation here. Instead, we will give each participant the opportunity to make their own choice based on their taste and availability. For this purpose, we will provide a small selection of accommodations to all participants.

What you need for this intensive workshop:

• Digital camera (manual mode must be available)
• Basic knowledge of how to operate the camera is advantageous
• Lens (wide angle & travel zoom)
• Tripod as stable as possible
• remote shutter release if necessary
• CPL filter (not required)
• sturdy hiking boots
• weatherproof clothing
• own filter system (if available)

But don't worry, if you don't already have a rectangular filter system, we can provide you with a filter system from KASE.
